Studia Romanica Posnaniensia is a peer-reviewed (double blind) periodical devoted to the studies on languages and literatures of Romance-speaking areas. In 2013, it has been ranked on the list C by Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (ERIH journals allotted a minimal value of 10 pts per article). Founded in 1971, it has been released with increasing frequency. At present, it is published every three months. More specifically, it consists of scholarly papers devoted to: linguistics and language studies, including history of Romance languages, foreign language acquisition, teacher’s professional training, theory and practice of translation and literary studies. Recently, much space has been devoted to studies on cultural background of contemporary Romance-speaking societies so as to acquaint readers with their spiritual and intellectual heritage. Studia Romanica Posnaniensia welcomes both internationally recognized pundits as well as young up-and-coming researchers. Editorial advisory board gathers Polish and foreign researchers reputed for their extensive knowledge of literature, translation theory and linguistics.
